WPSSS adressed by Honb'le Speaker of SLAS

Hon'ble speaker of State Legislative Asembly of Sikkim cum Area M.L.A. Syari Constituency, Mr.K.T.Gyaltshen addressed the students of West Point Sr.Sec.School on 3rd Dec'10. In his brief speech he urged the students to understand the responsibility as a student and work hard to excel in every sphere of life. He also told that discipline is the most important thing that each and every student should keep in mind whether they are inside or outside the school. He told that, " Journey of life is difficult with many competitions. If there is no competition, then there is no success." He also urged the students to communicate in English language, as it will help them in many things in the near future. He also focused his speech on Knowledwge, which every student should acquire while they are student. He declared to sponsor the funding for School Band Uniform and also promised to extend any kind of help in the days to come. Atlast he extended his warm greetings to the West

Ace Indian Archer who made a historic win at 16th Asian games held in  Guangzhou,  China by bagging an individual Silver Medal reached  Sikkim on 30th nov. Wonder Boy Tarundeep Rai and his coach R.B.Tamang  was given a warm welcome at Gangtok by officials from different departments, people from different organisations and individuals.
